FOXBOROUGH - Who do you think is having the most amount of fun right now: former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski or fans of the Los Angeles Lakers? On the one hand, the Lakers, now headed by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, are 12-2 and have the best record in the Western Conference. On the other hand, Gronk has been enjoying his retirement in a number of different ways, from starting his own CBD line to joining Fox Sports as an analyst to announcing his own Miami music festival.

But what do you get when you combine the Lakers spirit with that of Gronk? Well, you get a very entertaining video, of course.

During the Lakers’ 112-107 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, there were some famous fans in attendance. Gronkowski was there, as well as James Corden, the host of The Late Late Show, and Serena Williams, one of the greatest tennis players of all-time. They did more than watch the game, though. They joined the Laker Girls for a halftime dance routine that was probably confusing to people in attendance who were just expecting to see cheerleaders rather than two athletic legends and a British guy.

Joining them, but not dancing, was comedian Ian Karmel, who sported the Lakers colors, but felt remiss to do so, considering he is a big fan of the Portland Trail Blazers. I get where he’s coming from. I don’t expect Gronk to be a Celtics fan or anything, but you still never want to see a Boston sports legend in purple and gold.

The dance routine was performed to help promote Game On!, a new CBS game show from Corden, Karmel, Williams, and Gronkowski, as shared by NESN. (Keegan-Michael Key is also involved in the show’s production.)

You can watch the video of the dance, thanks to an upload to YouTube from Bleacher Report.

As fun as it is to see these stars perform a halftime routine, I have to say it felt like it was missing something. I think Jack Nicholson should have come off his courtside seats and joined the fun.
