BOSTON - In case you make your decisions of where you want to eat based on lists from exterior websites that rank a number of restaurants across the entire country against one another, then you might want to use this article as a critical resource for the new year. Yelp recently revealed their list of the one hundred best restaurants to eat at during the course of 2020 and Massachusetts was well-represented in terms of northeastern eateries that have delighted the taste buds of Bostonians and other such residents for many years.
Ranked at number forty-nine in the entire country was Carmelina's, an Italian restaurant in the North End. At seventy-six, Pruller Restaurant, Marlborough's marquee location for Brazilian cuisine, was included in the batch. And lastly, in the seventy-eighth position, JJ's Caffe, a beloved Brockton diner that serves meals for breakfast and lunch, joined the other Massachusetts entrants.
To come up with the list, Yelp curated all of the reviews and ratings that they have collected on their website over the years from users who have checked into the dining locations that were eligible for consideration on the list. They then weighted these ratings with the prevalence of restaurants depending on the culture and location of the various cities that featured these eateries. Lastly, Yelp also took the opinions of food and travel experts into consideration when putting the finishing touches on a thorough and solid top one hundred.
Carmelina's opened in 2012 and has made a name for itself by serving some of the most classic Italian dishes around with a contemporary spin. It helps keeps things fresh in the food, en route to the restaurant becoming one of the top spots for a smashing dinner in the city.
Pruller Restaurant specializes in a buffet-style culinary experience that brings the best tasting rice and beans to customers, as well as delicious Brazilian barbecue meats that you can only get there.
And lastly, JJ's Caffe, open since 2013, has made a name for itself as one of the friendliest, homeliest diners around. When you go to JJ's, you feel like family and that's just as important as the taste of the food.
Massachusetts was well-represented on the list this year! Hopefully, they keep that restaurant goodwill going in the near future.
