Foxborough, MA– At the beginning of the year, Toby Keith’s 'I Love This Bar and Grill' at Patriot Place closed without notice, disappointing many Patriots fans who made it their destination for food and live music entertainment during their trips to Foxborough. But turn those frowns upside down; a new restaurant is taking over Toby Keith’s old location, and it’s coming to Foxborough this summer, reports MassLive.

Toby Keith’s 'I Love This Bar and Grill' used to be located at 275 Patriot Place, but soon Six String Grill and Stage will take over the spot.

Six String Stage and Grill is described as a “full-service restaurant and live music venue,” and it’s expected to bring just as much fun as the last establishment did. The restaurant will host both country and rock-and-roll performances from “marquee national acts, up-and-coming music makers and locally loved artists,” according to a press release sent out this week by the Patriot Place. Six String Stage and Grill will not only have large areas for standing and dancing around the stage, but it will also have many private VIP sections and booths, along with event function space.

The Briar Group, which runs multiple restaurants in the Boston area including Ned Devine's, is behind the new restaurant which will serve both American food and Southern-style dishes.

Six String Stage and Grill will also cater to sports fans, with several big-screen TVs so that customers can watch multiple games on different screens. The bar will seat 80 people and will have 16 beers on tap to start; more may be added in the future.

The restaurant will open before noon to serve up lunch and will close late at night. Lunch and dinner menus are in the works for the summer grand opening.

Six String Stage and Grill plans to center themselves on great food, good drinks, and fun nightlife entertainment. A grand opening date has not been set, as the restaurant still needs to make renovations and hire a full staff. Job offerings have not been posted.
