BOSTON - Although many towns and cities postponed trick-or-treating and Halloween festivities to the weekend due to the weather, there were still plenty of costumes to enjoy from people all over the region.

Obviously, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got things off to a rousing start yesterday when he shared an image of himself dressed as a Stormtrooper. But he was not the only Boston-based figure to dress up as someone else.

The rest of his family also joined in thanks to an image shared by Gisele Bundchen.

With Brady as a Stormtrooper, Gisele dressed as Earth with Vivian and Benjamin a cowgirl and a dinosaur, respectively. At first, I thought it was hilarious that everyone had a pretty standard costume, except for Brady, who decided to go all in on Star Wars, for some reason. But then I realized that, if he keeps his mask on, it is probably a lot easier for him to walk around in public in Massachusetts.

Additionally, the Boston Bruins organization got decked out in Halloween garb, but there was certainly no real theme connecting any of their costumes. Check out Zdeno Chara's Instagram post.

Happy Halloween 🎃

From the image, I can make out Tuukka Rask as Wonder Woman, Patrice Bergeron as Wayne from Wayne's World, David Krejci as a banana, and Brad Marchand as Eleven from Stranger Things.

Additionally, it looks like Connor Clifton and Matt Grzelcyk were impersonating the NESN broadcast booth for Bruins games, but I cannot be certain. Other costumes include Dustin from Stranger Things, two separate Jokers, a waffle, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and a trio of people from the comedy Dodgeball.

Humorously, Boston Celtics coach Brad Stevens dressed up as his "doppelganger," Pete Buttigieg, who is running for president, as confirmed by the Boston Globe. This came after Buttigieg pretended to be Stevens himself.

Between Stevens' resemblance and Colin Jost's portrayal of Mayor Pete on Saturday Night Live, he seems like a pretty solid guy to impersonate.

Lastly, many hospitals in Boston dressed up newborns in a flurry of Halloween costumes and you can check out the gallery of absolutely adorable pictures over on Boston.com!

In a night that was marred by extreme weather conditions, power outages, and cancellations of Halloween parties, it is always nice to smile at some of these delightful pictures and costumes.
