Aerosmith Coming to Springfield this Summer

Springfield, MA– Aerosmith, the legendary Boston band that has had 21 Top 40 hits over the past five decades, is coming back to play at the MassMutual Center this summer. Though the band had played this center approximately 15  times between the years of 1974 and 1990, they are super excited to make their way back to the stage and perform some of their greatest hits like “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way.”

According to Mass Live, all you Aerosmith fans will get the opportunity to see the band this August. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers led by iconic frontman Steven Tyler will be heading to the MGM Springfield casino's MassMutual Center four times this year, on August 21st, 24th, 26th, and 29th. Their performance at the MassMutual Center will be part of MGM Springfield’s one-year anniversary celebration.

The 5,500-seat arena will likely be sold out by the time Aerosmith comes around, so be sure to get your tickets quick. Tickets will be priced at $89, $149, $249, $400, and $499. The general public will have access to ticket purchases this Friday, March 1, 2019, at approximately 10 a.m. At 10 a.m. on the dot, you’ll be able to call the MassMutual Center Box Office at 855-278-4667 or visit them online at mgmspringfield.com to make your ticket purchases.

There are other ways to get tickets earlier than the general public, though. Check out the options below:

-          If you’re part of the Aerosmith “Aero Force One” Paid Fan Club, you’ll be able to start purchasing tickets today

-          If you’re a Citi cardmember, you’ll have access to presale tickets as of Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at approximately 10 a.m.

-          If you’re an M life Rewards loyalty member, or a SiriusXM, Live Nation, or Ticketmaster customer, you’ll be able to purchase tickets on Thursday morning, February 28, 2019, at approximately 10 a.m.

MGM Springfield is honored and excited to have Aerosmith play on their grounds for all of their spectacular customers. Once the band’s visit is over, they will return to their Las Vegas residency.
